As president of Revildor, Luis “Fabian” Quevedo is a licensed roofing contractor with over 15 years experience in the construction industry. Quevedo has held multiple roles. Beginning with supervisory and superintendent roles, he moved on to perform estimating for construction companies, project management and administrative roles. Revildor is a roofing contractor business, which provides services primarily related to the installation, maintenance, repair and alteration of exterior roofs on residential, commercial, and public buildings. These services include cladding the roofs of residential, commercial and public buildings using a variety of materials and processes. Additionally, Quevedo is a State certified home inspector and has conducted over 1,500 commercial and residential inspections throughout the State of Florida. Quevedo also has many years of experience in business development in the insurance industry, where he and his wife ran a successful business helping residential and commercial clients with their insurance claims after the hurricanes of 2004 and 2005.
Prior to Revildor, Quevedo worked at the Orange County Property Appraiser Office as an Exemptions Compliance Investigator and later became a residential, as well as commercial field appraiser. Part of his duties included extensive community outreach, customer service and development, training in the evaluation of properties for real estate tax purpose. As an investigator Quevedo verified the eligibility of homeowners for property tax exemptions. This specialized work involves reaching out to Orange County tax payers and keeping them informed; mediate and resolve customer conflicts; research, review and recommend whether the property and/or owner(s) is qualified for new exemptions or existing ad valorem assessment purposes.
Among Quevedo’s other certifications and training are wind mitigation certification, Xactimate Estimate Software, Certified Florida Home Inspector, Certified Florida Evaluator (CFE) International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO) Fundamentals of Real Property Appraiser, Income Approach to Valuation, Appraisal of Land, and Assessment Administration.
Quevedo holds a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies and entrepreneurship from the University of Central Florida. He also holds an Executive Masters in Business Administration from Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College.
Quevedo is married to Diana Bolivar, and has one adult child who is an officer in the US Navy and in the Navy pilot program. Quevedo enjoys volunteering at the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando’s various events including the Hispanic Business Expo and the Latin Food and Wine Festival. He is an avid reader and enjoys music, world news, politics and events.
