Estimating Roofs While Social Distancing

As we all adjust to the “new normal”, the roofing industry, as well as other companies, have the responsibility to adhere to strict social distancing guidelines. At Revildor, employees and client safety and health are our number one priority.
The roofing industry’s use of technology tools, such as satellite imagery and other software, to provide accurate estimates is not new and is now serving a more important purpose during the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic.
What this means is even during a time of practicing social distancing, Revildor can provide a no human contact and free inspection. While our estimators may still need to go on top of roofs to verify certain elements of the roof structure such as number of vents, lead boots, etc., there is no need for face-to-face contact.
We can use the tools currently available to us such as computer and telephones to keep the line of communication open between customers and Revildor. Most frequently asked questions by homeowners can answered by us on a phone call or even via email. There may be instances where clients may not be technology driven. These clients may need personalized attention. In these scenarios, additional precautions with social distance, such as face mask and gloves, should be worn so that we protect our clients and ourselves.
At time of roof work, our roofers work diligently to tear out old shingles, decking inspection, and new shingle installation. Throughout the entire roof replacement process, we are required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) elements such as gloves, googles, etc.
